A: An online art store, directly connected to the artist David Gerstein, dedicated solely to his artwork, opened in 2010. We are specialists of his body of work and since we focus on one artist, we offer the best possible service to our customers, regarding all of his works. We are also the only store linked back from David Gerstein official website.
Q: Where is David Gerstein's art produced?
A: All of Gerstein's artwork is made in his large artist's studio in Har Tuv (near Bet Shemesh), Israel. For more details about the studio please visit this link.
Q: Where can I find the dimensions and weight of an art piece?
A: All the sculptures and other works have sizes and weight information on the product page. If you cannot find the information you are looking for please contact us by email , or by phone: (+1) 347-688-0951. We typically reply to your email or call within 1-2 hours, but in some cases it may take up to 24 hours.
Q: What is Gerstein's artwork made of?
A: Gerstein's art objects are made of laser cutout metal. The small objects are printed, sometimes on both sides and in some cases on one side only.
Q: Is the artwork suitable to be placed outdoors?
A: Placing your Gerstein art piece outdoors is not recommended for a long period of time. We can not guarantee the pieces will remain in great condition for years, if exposed to tough weather conditions such as rain, snow or direct sunlight.
Q: Where do you ship the art from?
A: We ship worldwide from the artist’s studio in Har Tuv, Israel.
Q: How do you ship the artwork and is it safe?
A: We ship most of the artwork via DHL express. Once the package dispatches we send you a tracking code via email and you receive the package to your door. It is safe and secure and we guarantee you will get the artwork in perfect condition. Smaller items such as books are sent via eco post, which is the Israeli postal service.
Q: When will I receive my order?
A: Depending on your country, an order usually takes between 2-6 days to be delivered by DHL express. We provide a tracking code for your shipment so you can keep track of your order's status at any given moment.
Please note: we cannot guarantee a particular delivery date, but we do our best to dispatch as fast as possible. We are quite happy with DHL express, as they deliver much faster than other services we have worked with in the past.
Q: What about shipping inside Israel?
A: Inside Israel, we ship via the postal courier service. They usually deliver within 2-5 days. In most cases it is on the faster end of that.
Q: I am staying at an Hotel, could you deliver there?
A: In general, we do deliver to Hotels, but it depends on the length of stay. If you are interested in a delivery to your hotel, please send us an email or contact us via our chat, to confirm your room number and dates of your stay. Usually it is rather easy to deliver to a hotel, and the package is left at the front desk for you.
Q: I've placed an order. How do I check the shipping status?
A: The easiest way is to click on the link in the email you received from us, which leads directly to the DHL tracking website. If the order was sent via Eco Post, you will receive a link to track it. You can also login to your account and track it from there. Still need assistance? Email us: [email protected]
Q: Can I send an art piece to a different address, or a different country?
A: Yes. It is fast and easy. At the checkout area, enter your billing address, which is connected to your credit card. Then enter the address to which you would like the package sent, under "shipping address". This address can be located anywhere in the world. So for example, you could buy that long overdue gift to your grandmother in Australia, even if you live in the US. Tip: You can add a free greeting card with your own words.
Q: Can I add a greeting card to my package?
A: Yes. We offer a free official greeting card which you can add to your order at the checkout. You are welcome to enter a greeting message in your own words.
Q: How can I pay for my order?
A: We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, or a bank transfers. If you would like to pay by bank transfer, please contact us to arrange the details of the transfer.
Q: Can I return an art piece if I am not satisfied?
A: Of course, you may return any art piece you buy from GersteinART for any reason within 30 days of purchase for a full refund except for shipping fees. We charge only for shipping costs. Refunds are issued as soon as the art piece is returned to our office. Please note that custom fees, VAT and release fees are not refunded by us.
